Terms and Conditions
101 Therese Street
In the absence of prior written agreement, only those persons named on the reservation form are permitted to stay at this villa – any unknown persons will not be covered by ANY insurance and no claim for compensation arising from any accident involving an unregistered person will not be entertained.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult – this also includes use of the pool. Non-swimmers and children of all ages should take reasonable care when using the swimming pool, adhere to the posted guidelines and be supervised by a capable adult. All occupants will use the swimming pool at THEIR OWN RISK.
Failing to use the alarm for the doors, leading to the pool, is a federal offence.
In the absence of negligence, neither the owner nor any of their representatives shall be deemed liable for:
1. any loss, injury or damage suffered by any person in the party;
2. additional expenses arising as a result of delay or inconvenience suffered by the party or any member of the party, or caused by force majeure events such as strikes, fire, flood, hurricane, tornado or any other event beyond their control.
It is the client's responsibility to take out adequate holiday insurance for all members of their party. In fact all members of the visiting party are strongly advised to take out insurance to cover their complete trip from the U.K. (or wherever) until they return.
In the event of a client, or any member of the party, becoming ill during the holiday, all hospital expenses are the client's responsibility and the owner will not be liable for refund, either partial or total, of the passage or accommodation paid. In the event the adverse incident is directly attributable to reasonable measures not being taken by the owner then the situation may be subject to review.
The client shall occupy the villa in a quiet and dignified manner, taking reasonable measures to protect all contents against damage, loss or theft.
The client is also responsible for making good any damage caused by him/her or any member of the party. In case of any wilful damage or loss, the owner reserves the right
to cancel any arrangements made with the client without notice or compensation
and to recover costs incurred including, but not limited to, use of the security deposit as necessary.
All reasonable steps will be taken, by the owner, to ensure the villa is maintained to a high standard. Should the villa become uninhabitable through accident, or for some other unforeseeable reason, all reasonable effort will be made to find alternative accommodation for the client and every effort will be made to ensure that such accommodation is of a similar standard.
We are happy to supply written information for an insurance company when cancellation is due to illness.
(All we’re trying to say is take care of yourself (and everyone with you), take care of the property, behave in a responsible manner and don’t leave your brain at home – most of you are going to unfamiliar parts and unusual things can happen.)
